By the end of this tutorial, you will be fully set up and will have completed at least one question from Homework 1 (HW1), either locally or in PrairieLearn.
Before the Tutorial¶
To make the most of our time, please do the following before arriving:
Review the setup.md file for software requirements and installation steps.
Try to get your local environment ready. If you hit a roadblock, do not worry. Bring your laptop and the error messages so the TAs can help.
Verify you can log into our course PrairieLearn.
During the Tutorial¶
Environment Setup and Troubleshooting
If you have not finished setting up your environment, use this time to do so.
TAs will walk around to help resolve any installation issues you encountered with setup.
Get started on HW1
Once your setup is complete, you will work independently on HW1. Your objective is to finish and submit at least one question.
TAs will be available to answer questions and help you get started with the assignment and workflow.
